The Canteen in Providence, Rhode Island suffered through the growing pains we are going through now. With the help of a local vendor, they now have a beautiful response vehicle and a place to operate out of.
Providence Canteen in Action
Providence Canteen was the only Canteen allowed in at Ground Zero on September 11, 2001. They served food and drinks to all the responders at the site.
They revisited NYC on the tenth anniversary of the fateful day.
